The sleek, straightforward WordPress multi-site, developed by Living Proof Creative, allows BFF to post stories and blogs regularly with ease, never missing a beat in the ever-changing beauty and fashion industry.
Overview
Interface Design
Fashion trends change swiftly and frequently. For Beauty Fashion Fragrance to remain relevant, the website Interface had to be a stable layout that doesn’t impose on its vibrant, up-to-the-minute content. Sticking with a solid black and white theme, and minimal blog style formatting, Living Proof Creative designed an Interface that highlights the website’s constantly changing content rather than distracting from it. The user functionality informs the design so users can access the wealth of fashion, beauty and lifestyle information without getting bogged down by an over-designed Interface.
Content Management
With a constant outpouring of content on a daily basis, the website had to function flawlessly- making it simple and easy for users to access each and every article. Just as important was Living Proof Creative’s mission to allow easy access to the the administrators at Beauty, Fashion, Fragrance. The life blood of the website is the content, so everything surrounding the building of the site focused on the management and execution of content.
WordPress Multisite
Beauty, Fashion, Fragrance is so much more than just beauty, fashion and fragrance. Their site covers any & everything having to do with current social trends. So, the website Living Proof Creative was brought on to build was a large one, with multiple pages, calendars, blogs and more. WordPress was the best choice for the platform because it allows for many different themes, subscriptions, and categories within the site, all while remaining easy to use. Now, the administrators at Beauty, Fashion Fragrance are able to update their website with frequency and ease.
Mobile Responsive
Living Proof Creative designed the site knowing most of the articles would be accessed via mobile device. Whether it’s a young fashionista on an ipad at the airport, or Pratt design student swiping through the app on the subway, most of Beauty, Fashion, Fragrance users are reading posts while out in the world, rather than at home on a desktop. The end result was a beautiful mobile experience, that features images and content on all devices, to absolute perfection.
